Honoured to attend the reception hosted by His Majesty King Charles III at St James’s Palace in celebration of the Nigerian Diaspora in the United Kingdom.
This engagement marks my first international appearance following the conclusion of the traditional forty-day period of mourning for my beloved father, HRH The Otunba Adekunle Ojora, of blessed memory, observed in accordance with our cultural traditions in Nigeria. It was therefore especially meaningful to join fellow Nigerians and friends of Nigeria in recognising the contributions of the diaspora and the enduring ties between the United Kingdom and Nigeria.
I was accompanied by Zelia Bukhari, Director of Global Health Policy & Advocacy at the Toyin Saraki Global Policy & Philanthropy Office.
The Wellbeing Foundation Africa is pleased to note the continued impact of The King’s Trust International in supporting young people in advancing professional capacity-building skills and entrepreneurship across the Commonwealth and beyond.
