WBFA Wins Africa’s Best Quality Women’s Health Outcome Improvement Services Award 2025

It is with great professional appreciation that I acknowledge the recognition of the Wellbeing Foundation Africa as Africa’s Best Quality Women Health Outcome Improvement Services Company of the Year 2025 by the African Quality Achievement Awards, organised by the African Quality Academy in collaboration with The Quality Standard Journal and supported by the World Quality Alliance.

This award reflects the Wellbeing Foundation Africa’s sustained commitment to advancing women’s health outcomes through the implementation of internationally recognised quality management frameworks, adherence to global health service delivery standards, and the integration of robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems. It affirms the Foundation’s position as a locally rooted organisation working in alignment with national, continental, and global priorities to strengthen health systems and deliver equitable, measurable impact.

In a context where maternal and women’s health indicators remain critical determinants of public health performance, the consistent application of evidence-based interventions, guided by accurate data, implemented through multidisciplinary collaboration, and reinforced by accountability, is essential. The Wellbeing Foundation Africa’s frontline approach, championing and working alongside midwives, nurses, doctors, and healthcare workers, recognises that improving health outcomes requires the systematic institutionalisation of quality at every stage of policy formulation, service delivery, and community engagement.

The African Quality Achievement Award serves as a valued reinforcement of our commitment to quality as both a technical and strategic priority, requiring the application of governance, capacity building, innovation, and continuous improvement across the health ecosystem.

On behalf of the Wellbeing Foundation Africa, I express appreciation to the African Quality Academy and the World Quality Alliance for this recognition, and to our partners and stakeholders whose shared dedication enables us to contribute to stronger health systems and the highest attainable standards for women’s health across Africa.
