At the Goals House, Bayer and The Challenge Initiative Roundtable, convened during the High-Level Week of the 80th United Nations General Assembly, I was pleased, in my capacity as a member of the Bayer Sustainability Council, to join a distinguished dialogue co-hosted by Claus Runge, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Public Affairs and Sustainability at Bayer, and Kojo Lokko, Executive Director of The Challenge Initiative, and moderated by Alice Park, Senior Health Correspondent at TIME.
Our deliberations affirmed that access to family planning is a centrepiece of sustainable development, gender equality, and improved health outcomes. It is therefore imperative that we equally support contraceptive and fertility options for anyone starting or growing a family.
The Wellbeing Foundation Africa is committed to advancing models which embed Personal, Social, Health and Economic wellbeing and high-impact practices within health systems, and to sustaining community-based programmes which translate global commitments into tangible realities.
