During the United Nations General Assembly 80, I was deeply honoured, in my capacity as Global Ambassador of the WHO Foundation, to attend the AI for Health Resilience: Innovation in Emergency Preparedness convening at Goals House, hosted by the WHO Foundation, Firuza Foundation, Foundation S, Merck, Pfizer Inc, and ServiceNow.
It was a privilege to meet with Dr. Mohamed Janabi, WHO Regional Director for WHO Africa, and to engage with esteemed colleagues in reflecting on how the integration of climate forecasting with resilient health systems can safeguard lives and ensure that no community is left behind.
