WBFA Kwara State Team launches Year 2 of the WBFA – Dettol Nigeria Hygiene Quest Program

This week the, Wellbeing Foundation Africa Kwara State Team proudly launched Year 2 of the WBFA – Dettol Nigeria Hygiene Quest Program & Curricula at St. Anthony Secondary School in Ilorin, marking another significant step in our mission to embed a culture of water, sanitation and personal hygiene among young adolescents and throughout communities. This implementation, made possible through our valued social impact partners Reckitt, is equipping generations with the knowledge and habits they need to make informed, healthy choices, as Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) is not just a personal responsibility; it is a foundational pillar of public health.

Welcoming representatives from the Kwara State Commissioner for Education and the Executive Chairman of Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), whose presence highlights a shared commitment to advancing hygiene education, along with the dedication of school administrators and teachers, WBFA is championing inclusivity in education and fostering an environment of continuous growth, as we eagerly begin the next phase of learning and impact.

The Wellbeing Foundation Africa believes that sustainable hygiene education is key to preventing infections, reducing absenteeism in schools, and fostering overall community wellbeing, and through providing consistent, engaging, and practical learning opportunities and programming, we are empowering young minds with lifelong habits that will safeguard not only their health but also the health of their families.

Thank you to the Wellbeing Foundation Africa partners, educators, and stakeholders who continue to support WBFA – Dettol Nigeria Hygiene Quest Program, as we drive lasting impact and reinforce the importance of a Clean Naija for all.
