Each of us has a choice about how we respond to the extraordinary times in which we find ourselves. Each of us can see differently, act differently, and change things for the better.

Saying nothing and doing nothing is unacceptable as the courageous women and girls of Iran, their families and their allies are rightfully demanding their basic fundamental human rights.

We can all stand in solidarity at this critical moment, joining leaders in the international community to vocally and unequivocally demonstrate support for women’s rights in the demand that the Islamic Republic of Iran is suspended from the @UnitedNations #CSW Commission on the Status for Women, a governing body that needs to maintain credibility for it to serve women and girls worldwide, until and when the rights of women and girls are restored, respected and upheld.
